Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn has been an actress for more than 20 years. She is best known for her character Skyler White in The AMC show Breaking Bad for which she won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting actress in an Drama Series in 2013 and 2014. She has also played Jean Ward in The Practice, and Martha Bullock in Deadwood. Anna Gunn grew up in Sante Fe New Mexico and fell in adore with acting when she was in Preparatory School. At the end of the 1970s, the family moved to Ohio. She attended Northwestern University to study theatre and was also a student at the British American Drama Academy. Anna was employed in the theatre in the Chicago region for a couple of years prior to trying her hand at TV and films. Anna's first major part was Arden, in Down the Shore. She played in 29 episodes. After appearing as a Guest Star in several TV Shows and films, such as Seinfeld as well as NYPD Blue during the 90's and was later chosen to play Jean Ward as part of The Practice. Martha Bullock played two full seasons on Deadwood that was shot in the mid 2000's. In 2008 she was cast in the role of Skyler in Breaking Bad. Sully was the Deadwood film and other films included her. Gunn was on stage in David Schwimmer's Sex With Strangers. The year 2022 saw Gunn participated in an audio-play show named "Numbered Days". Breaking Bad often revolves around Walter White and Skyler's relationship. The strains and eventual ending mirrors the last years in the story of Walter White.
